Do you know anyone that suffers from ocular migraine occasionally? These are scary but dont generally hurt although some people get the headache too. I dont get the headache. Just the freaky eye ‘light’ for like 15 mins or so when it happens. Eye Doctor says it isnt to worry about and he gets them as well.
Seems it’s key to lie down and stay relaxed when it DOES happen.
Im wondering if anyone knows anyone else who experiences this?

    • My sister who has MS would get this off and on, and she dealt with optical neuritis on top of it..there is no medication available for this?..maybe an anti-inflammatory?

The night of my bday awake til 4, then worked til 2 3o am the next night, then awake and out the door sat am to IL and out again sat night til LATE. Slept all day and night yesterday. Cant bank sleep!! Especially not at 44 yrs old. ACK!!

    • In my sister’s case, because of the MS, she had to go through IV steroid therapy and take an anti-inflammatory pill which started to ease the symptoms...she still undergoes IV therapy, and it has helped the ocular part..think she also used an eye drop, will ask her about that today and let you know.

    • Thanks! I feel so luckyfor not being one to get those haedaches that follow. The ocular part is REALLY scary tho. For me, the key is to STAY relaxed as possible although scared at the time, lie down and use eye drops ALOT. It seemed to really help it go away faster rather than panicking over it. Its HARD to DO.
The adrenaline rush that happens from it tho is VERY draining.
Thanks for your efforts in finding out info for me. :D I REALLY appreciate that alot.
