Ok, My Monday really sucked. I woke up at 3am to get ready for work, well as soon as I got up from my bed, The room started spinning and I was nauseous(sp). I thought maybe It was my blood sugar being too low or too high, but It wasn’t that. I sat on the couch for awhile thinking this will go away. NO, It got worse, I started sweating really bad and dry heaving which to me Is just worse then actually throwing something up. I called out of work and went to lay back down hoping It would go away by morning, again NO, It did not go away. I called my mom to see If she could take me to my doctors and she did, I got there and I am surprised he didn’t really do too much, gave me a prescription for some dizzyness meds. Oh and I got poked like 4 xs when they were taking my blood but couldn’t find a vein. By this time I was getting a little upset. Then they gave me a shot to take away the nausea but that didn’t work. As soon as I got home I started dry heaving again and the room spinning. So when hubby got home I told him he needs to take me to the ER now. So we were off to the er and of course they were busy as usuall. We were there from 6:30pm to 2am. It was the one of the worst nights I had.
I also got my blood taken there also, I’m surprised If I have any Although It was coming out really slow as I was also dehydrated from not drinking anything or eating as I couldn’t keep anything down anyway.

I finally got a room and they put an IV In me and took my blood pressure thru out the night, I answered the same questions like 4 xs to differant nurses and then the doctor. They walked me up and down the hall to see If I could walk straight without falling over. I guess thats routine for people who have Vertigo. Yes thats what I have caused by an ear Infection. My ears don’t hurt but this vertigo thing doesn’t feel very good. when I move around or wake up, the room will start spinning and I get dizzy. So for the past couple days and the rest of the week I am taking It easy and not moving so much. The patches they gave me are helping with my balance, It’s like being on a boat that doesn’t quit rocking.

Has anyone else ever had Vertigo? and did you go to a specialist?

I am going to have to go see a specialist for ear, throat and mouth so this won’t happen again.
Well I just needed to get all that out and vent a little.
