What do you do with a lot of leftover tortillas?  Besides the usual of enchiladas, burritos and soft tacos?  

Flour tortillas do make a tasty thickener.  Simply cut the tortillas up into small pieces and add it to you soup or stew pot, they will start to break down and will start to thicken up fairly quickly and without the raw flour taste.  Corn tortillas will work the same way, but give the dish a "corny" flavor.

Heat the oven to about 350.  Grease the bottom of a mixing bowl (you can use Pam) lay a tortilla over the bottom and spray with the Pam.  Bake until lightly brown.  Use as a tortilla salad bowl.

As I mentioned Sunday, besides having a lot of soft tortillas left, I also had quite a lot of tortilla chips to contend with.  Here's a few of my favorite ways to use them up:
Crush onto of soup or salad.
Crush and use as coating for fish fillets, pork chops and oven-fried chicken.
For the coatings-make sure you crush them enough, if you leave the pieces to large, the pieces will fall off onto the baking sheets.
