As Mother’s Day quickly approach I’m trying to remember that it is “Mother’s Day” holiday. Even though I am a mother of 2 wonderful young men, it stopped being “Mother’s Day” for me three years ago, when I spent that last Mother’s Day with her, then she passed a month later, due to cancer.  My parents always would buy the gifts for my boys to give me for Mother’s Day, so when mom passed, this holiday no longer had much meaning to me.  In order to stop trying to forget this holiday, I send flowers to my mon’s good friend and give gifts to my mother’s two sisters in order to keep her memory alive.  Even thought I know she’s i a better place, I still miss her terribly, but I don’t cry as much as I use to.
I told my boys that I would help them out and buy my own gift and let them know what they got me for Mother’s Day.(LOL) Today my sister and I was out in the mall looking around and we stopped in a frangrance store because I wanted to see if there was a gift set for Dolce and Gabbana (my favorite fragrance) when the gentleman asked us if were looking for a fragrance for our mother, I politely informed him that our mother is deceased. While leaving the mall, we discussed the incident, we both agreed that we feel a little left out as we can’t give gifts to our mother, I can truly say that it hurts a little.... But we‘re both OK.
I would like to wish every mother “HAPPY MOTHER‘S DAY” this year with many more....

The photo is the last picture taken of my mom and I
