Someone kick me in the butt!  I just can’t seem to get motivated to get ANYTHING done.  I don’t know whats wrong with me, but it has to stop!

I have a lot on my plate, and for some reason, I’m procrastinating even getting started today.

    • Think of how good you’ll feel to be able to cross things off your to do list!

    • The to-do list can be a real bummer when I’m in a procrastination - super lack of motivation spell.  Simply get so upset with all that DIDN‘T get done on my list!

I am in your same boat lvn4me.  I have been in this slump for a LONG while - and have VOWED To get over it THIS WEEK!   Baby steps.

I check in on here - I go do SOMETHING productive - I come back here!  Well you get the idea - At least i’m getting something done!

The weather doesn’t help me - it is COLD - I like WARM!!

    • Celebrate the tiny wins.  Get an Easy Button from Staples and use it through out the day. Any little thing that you do. Example- prize yourself for taking a shower.  Hit your Easy Button.  You got dressed- hit your EB.  You made a phone call to a client- EB.  I know that it sounds sort of goofy but believe me it is extremely motivating.  Before you know it you will have completed everything on your list without striving.  In fact you will notice that it was done with ease, joy, and glory.  It is sort of a way of micro-actioning your day.  Break it down into tiny, tiny, tiny, steps and before you know it you’ll have covered tons of ground.

      Good luck!estatic

    • MB, its funny that you mention the Easy button.  I had one of those, and thought it was a waste of space.  Now I’m kicking myself for throwing it away.  LOL  Thanks for the suggestions.  Much appreciated!
