I drank my last dew last nite at 8 pm. So far im doing ok. Ill admit that when i got up this morning it was the first thing i wanted, but nope i grabbed a bottle of water.

I will keep everyone posted on how i am doing with this. But i would really like to be successful. For many reasons.
Im not a healthy oriented person, so its hard, But i really want to lose about 30 lbs. which isnt a whole lot, but for me its a hard one now. The dew is the first step and im planning on making myself workout too. Its so hard for me to stick to anything so im sure i will have to do alot of talking to myself.

    • Tracy...let me also suggest to you a website that many of us are members of.  We all get on the band wagon every now and then and stay active with the site, but it is a very good site when you are trying to lose weight...and the best part is ...it’s’ FREE.

You can log in your weight how often you check it.  For me...weighing everyday keeps me on track.  You can track what you eat and your water intake.  There are great articles to read to keep you focused and videos with exercise routines to follow.  You can join our group...Fabulous Flabbers..I think...lol..someone help me out...Vikki??  Annie?

Anyway..just join and we will get you to the group.  It really is good and it will really help you stay focused with dieting and exercise.

Good for you for giving up the dew.  You will be amazed at how much better you will feel after you get over the withdrawals.  Way to go for taking charge in your health!
You should be very proud of yourself for taking the first step.  We are all here to help you...feel free to message me anytime....estaticheart

    • Tracy,
I kicked the Coke habit. If you stick to it for 30 days, you won’t really want a Dew. I drank Coke and an Excedrin every day upon waking for years. I finally made my mind up to stop. You won’t even think about Dew after a while.

I drink a lot of cold Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey. It is already made up. I buy it at our grocery store and it is made fresh. The green tea will help with losing weight. Also, eat meals in moderation. Maybe not quite as much and you will lose weight.

Keep us posted and we are here to support you!!

Mark on your calendar 30 day! It will go by quickly!heartheart

    • A long with the Dew if you can eliminate enriched products such as white bread and white rice too. Substitute whole wheat, oat or other grain bread and brown rice. You will not only see the difference, you will feel the difference. I know, when I was working I sadly admit I was a dewholic.  I have been dew free now sine late May 2009. And you know what, I don’t miss it at all.  I have lost twenty pounds since I gave up the dew.  Just think  of it this way  Features and benefits. Improved health = reducing carbon and enriched flour  +  less refined sugars + eating more grains =  improved health + weight loss.

    • Thanks so much everyone, it is so great getting on here and seeing all the support. wonderful. The suggestions were great and i am going to use all of them.
At 8 pm tonite it will be two days without my little green bottle, and im actually doing pretty well. Funny how those bad habits can get you. Today may have been the first day ina long while that i didnt have to take a stomach pill.
Im drinking iced tea, and of course water. Im not a big eater so diet is not really an issue, i probaly dont eat the right foods or enough of them. But i am a bad sugarholic.
But the dew is the first step, my kids are laughing and betting against me now, didnt think i could do it. But ill get the last laugh on them. and enjoy it too.
I just have about 33 lbs to lose, but it is a really big deal to me, not sure why. but for me its like hitting powerball.
I will have more self essteem and confindence if i can do this. So keep me in your thoughts. And when im good and the weight is off, quitting smoking is next!
