As many of you know, my youngest daughter Maggie has been working hard to get accepted into our local vocational school’s Cosmetology program. (awe...she wanted to follow in her Mommy’s footsteps LOL)
Well...we got the news last week that she made it!! WooHoo! She will be a 4th generation cosmetologist. She starts next school year at the same school I did. How exciting...I can’t wait for her!
She also has been saving for two years for her first car. After months and months of searching, we finally found it. With all the stipulations her Daddy set she was afraid she would never find one. It had to be an American made car, low miles, good condtion, automatic etc. The only thing she really wanted was for it to be white. If she could find a Ford Focus she would be extremely happy. Well guess what, we finally found her a white Ford Focus with only 72000 miles on it. She was at the movies with a friend when her Dad and I went to look at it secretly because we didn’t want her to get her hopes up. Well, her Dad bought it on the spot. Imagine how excited she was when I texted her to tell her she was the owner of her first car, exactly what she wanted. Here is the pic of the previous owner handing her the keys the next day when we went to pick it up. A photo I will cherish forever!!

    • Thanks Chocolatier, yep I am spilling over!!

      LoL Term...the window crank...too funny!!
Maggie asks every day to drive. She drove me to the eye docs and dentist today. She wanted to drive to the mall, but that was too far and too many people in the car so I drove her car to the mall and she was happy with that. estatic

Actually things have changed since we took our state boards. Here in Ohio you don’t take a model anymore, you use your mannequin instead. Pretty cool huh?? I know her Dad can’t wait until she has to practice the massage, hand and arm and also facial massage. He and my Dad both loved it when I got to that part of school. Every day they would ask if I needed to practice. LOL
It is so nice having the time to be back on the site chatting with you all again. Spring break here and I have time to sit and chat. Ahh...the good life!! I’ve missed you all terribly!
