On Tuesday I had a gyne appt. which I scheduled myself. Last week as I was doing a breast exam, happened to feel a small lump and right away called and made an appt...sure enough the doctor felt it also, and I am scheduled for a breast ultrasound. Needless to say, I am keeping a positive attitude as some breast nodules can be just cystic, so better to remain optimistic until I know for sure and then the proper procedure will be taken. I know that Yana has been through a lot and there are also other Fab ladies that may have been in this situation also. Please say prayers as there are many things going on in my life, and I don’t need anything else added at this point.

Mary staying positive is key. I too will be praying for you. I am proud that through your own testing you were able to discover something was not right and followed through and went to the doctor. Your move is the first big step and taking the bull by the horns as immidately going to the doctor. Love you girl and have a great weekend.

Prayers coming Mary. You‘re doing the right thing having it checked. I just did the same thing myself a few months ago, had a little something cut out from my underarm (it was too close to a lymph node to ignore it) and I glad I did. Best to be proactive.

Just a quick update...I had a breast ultrasound and another mammogram last week and the doctor feels it is something called a lipoma..not sure what type yet, but another doctor visit is in order in December and she will assess the tests and decide whether I need to see a breast surgeon.
Unfortunately this can grow, so it needs to be taken care of soon.
