I am on vacation in Vancouver, Canada, and today is another national holiday so many places are closed.

 Vancouver is very European. People live a very different lifestyle in Canada, then the way Americans do.

 I noticed people are very cultured here, many speak French (French is like Southern California’s Spanish), where all signs are written in English & French.

 During the week, Canadians are out late through the night-people of all ages, enjoying one another’s company, whether they are at a cafe, a coffee shop, a show, or a bar.

 This is something I am not used to, because in California it is not heard of for anyone to be out late at night during the week.

 I really like it here, and am very appreciative of the culture and the way people live.

 I feel as if people are living life to their fullest, enjoying every waking moment, whether they are doing something exciting, or even mellow- they are enjoying themselves.

 This is yet another reminder that we only live once and we have to make the best of it! Because getting out there any enjoying life makes people happy, and leads to a more positive and energetic lifestyle.
