Vitamin C in skin care products is a popular ingredient. And with good reason – there is substantial data to support its efficacy as an anti aging ingredient. I've written about it in previous posts and you can read [Link Removed] 

When it comes to skin, Vitamin C has many benefits:

•It stimulates the production of collagen, which forms part of the skin's supporting framework
•It acts as an antioxidant to help reduce free radical damage to skin
•It brightens skin tone
•It helps skin to retain moisture
For these reasons, it can brighten skin tone, reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture.

One caveat – Vitamin C must be formulated correctly. It is inherently unstable and if not manufactured with care, it will not deliver any benefits and may actually be harmful to skin; actually causing free radical damage, rather than preventing it.
