I look forward to checking the progress of my garden whenever I am home. It is so exciting to see vegetables grow from seeds and seedlings. Amazing!
I harvested these veggies from the first veggie garden I’ve had in many years. The tomatoes are so fresh-tasting and very delicous. I also plucked a few leaves from a basil plant.
I intend to cook the okra as soon as I have enough. At the rate they are growing in my garden, it will be very soon.
Ideas...what dish do you make using okra?
Girl go head and wash cut season that okra and coat it with cornmeal and deep fry it, ummmm good lol.

I like to steam it and mix with cooked fresh corn off the cob, tomato, black pepper and a dash of salt..a medley of veggies.
