This morning, my boss (with whom I’ve worked for nearly a decade) said to me, “OK, what’s up with your hair??”

I have thick, medium textured hair that has been every length, style and color imaginable.

I started turning gray at the age of 20 and now,  2 decades later, I don’t even know what color my hair is one day to the next.

Two years ago, I tried the "going gray naturally route" and the day that two different people told me that I had "a lot of gray" and that I looked "a lot older", Miss Clairol and I had a date that very night.

The next day, at my hair stylist, I thought she’d jump for joy when I asked her to color it, do whatever, to get rid of the gray.  Now, my hair is getting longer and I’ve started letting it air-dry instead of using a blow-dryer... It’s a blessing that I can braid my hair at night and it’s still damp in the morning.
So for this week, I’ve braided it in small sections at night and in the mornings, I have really cool waves.  As the day goes on, my hair seems to grow...horizontally.  Did you ever watch the TV show “Friends” and see the episode where Monica’s hair seemed bigger in each scene?  I think they were in the Bahamas or somewhere. Anyway, that’s my hair in the spring and summer.

Does anyone else have hair that seems to change from one day to the next?
