...I got new library books!
We‘re a little later getting into the swing of our new local library since moving to this part of Houston last fall. Usually it’s one of the first things we do. I’m not sure now why it kept getting put off but we’ve remedied the situation and are in full-swing once again.
The closest branch to us is actually quite small and mostly consists of children’s titles, so I just got online and requested all the books we were looking for. And, four days later, here they be!
The titles revealed here in this picture probably depict more about us than you’ve gleaned up to this point. So there you go!
Oh, and the Robert McKee book shown here? I’m going to Half-Price Books this afternoon to actually buy it. Man, I can’t believe I waited this long to dive into it!

I am going to take a picture of our local li-berry branch. It is a brick bldg, probably no bigger than 500 sqf.
I hardly go to the library since discovering bookmooch.com. But,I definitely always go to the annual library book sale!great deals,some free.my kinda sale.lol

The Capote was Scott’s request, and we’ll both read the Stephen King. Not to say I won’t read Truman, though.
The copy of “The Long Road Home” is actually a graphic novel based on King’s Dark Tower series. Turns out this is like #2 in the set, so I have to track down #1. The pictures are cool, though!
Glad to make you laugh, Cindy. And tulip, I know exactly how lucky I am. As it is, even when we‘re regulars at the library, I still spend a fortune on books.

My mom used to take me to the library every week during the summer when I was a kid. I’d take those books and sit on our couch reading out loud, pretending to be reading to a classroom.
We have a library down the street. They have a children’s reading group one day a week. A woman sits and reads children’s book “in character” for all the little ones. It’s really sweet.
Sadly we don’t have a library near us just a great book shop ... so my hall and lounge look like a library ... I love a good read
I don’t know what I’d do without the library! Like I said, I was stunned to realize we’d gone all those months without going.
We get DVDs and audio books and CDs and everything there. We had quite the list of books this time, though, so we just stuck with that.
When we were home schooling we were in the library all the time! Unfortunately, I’m a book hog and I tend to purchase rather than borrow. My reading is generally for information than for pleasure, but I still enjoy it!
I probably order 5 books per month from Amazon (used whenever I can). But I can relate to the giddy feeling when they arrive, feathermaye! 
I’m waiting for “The Shack” on CD from the library. I don’t like to sit and read, so I get my education in my car! Love it!
