GOOD MORNING LADIES,

Can you believe it? I got up this morning at 7am and went for a walk around the block for about 20 minutes. Now before you start admiring me or giving me that dirty “look” you should know one thing.

I DID NOT WANT TO DO IT!!

Scoti my border collie has too much freakin energy, but she deserves some freedom. I had been letting her roam around the yard but she took advantage of it and tried to roam the neighborhood.

So my morning walk was inspired by my desire to tire ms.scoti. And it work. I am now at work and I’m sure she’s asleep in her pen inside the house.

much love

    • 47, I can totally relate. We rescued a german sheppard mix a couple of months ago. She needs some freakin ritalin or something. She has so much energy. We have housed trained her because we don’t have a fence. But she just wants to be free and run and run. I don’t walk her, she walks me!
I have fallen deeply in love with her and try to walk and run with her as much as possible. I know she’s happy here in the home, but I try to give her what I know she really wants. To run and be free.
Did I mention, that we were just suppose to keep her long enough to find her a good home. Now, I have fallen in love with her. We now have 2 cat’s and 2 dogs that we’ve rescued for one reason or another and they all love each other.

    • lcmiddlesworth,

I don’t have a fence either. She’s still trying to mark her territory in the HOUSE, but I can’t let her outside alone, she wanders off and is so friendly that I fear for the person’s “safety” if she gets too close.

      much love

    • Teeky, you need a puppy!
That will be all the motivation you will need. You will either jump up quickly to take her for a walk (several times a day) or......you will be on pooper scooper duty. LOL
Forget the pooper scooper thing, we‘re trying to get you motivated here. Right?

    • Almost, I would give anything to walk on the beach every morning. The beach air is so powerful and soul cleansing.
When I do go to the beach, I go out every morning early with my coffee and just let the wind carry all my troubles out to sea. It’s amazing how it can just release you.

    • That will just make us jealous almost50! ) I am with Lisa - soul cleansing describes it perfectly. I think for me it gives me a tiny glimpse of how big God is, and I feel engulfed by that magnitude. I love the beach, the ocean, the constant breeze. I think I want to move to Cancun instead of Colorado. LOL

    • Teeky3,

I live in Texas close to the coast, it wasn’t 30 degrees but it wasn’t 90 either. I put on two jackets and a beanie.

      Almostfive0,

I know the beach in the morning feeling from vacationing on the resort in what was once Galveston.

    • Maybe we need another LET‘S DO THIS DAY.  We can commit to walking, jogging or running tomorrow morning at sunrise or 7 just long as you do something and then we can get together over that cup of hot chocolate, coffee or hot tottie you know what I mean.

And I also agree that it gives me a glimpse of how big the Universe is and how I am still a part of it. It’s amazing!
I’ve never been to Colorado but I know there are some awesome sites there as well.

Transitions are all about growth. Be gentle with yourself and use this time to get to know you better. Don’t look at it as a bad thing...this is your time.

    • As it is in farming you gotta till the ground, turn it upside down to promote new growth, fatter crops, bigger rewards.

Yes your life might seem in turmoil, and you can change your viewpoint, till it, turn it over and turn it into the life of bigger rewards.

    • almostfive0,

That’s the name of the walk “Sunrise Walk.”

Which means Teeky can participate when the sun rises on her planet and we can “gather” afterwards. I like it.
