In 2008 I helped start a new ministry that I virtually had no experience or training in (we worked on it for 2 years, actually, before opening). To say the least there has been a huge learning curve! I’ve had little personal time, and have all but neglected my closest friends, and even some family members. Granted, they’ve all been very patient and understanding. Even supportive and encouraging! But I think there’s a change in order for 2009.
I know I will be challenged to the max in time management this year, but I’m taking back my life! I need my girl time, my down time, and my family time. I’ve charted out my goals and am ready to begin. It’s been so long, that I think factoring in “me” time is going to feel a little strange at first, but I bet I get used to it fast.
I hope to post here on occasion to let you all know how I am doing at keeping my promises to myself. I may need your gentle prodding at times to get me back on track, especially during and after our busy times at work.

I will overthrow the old passive me, I will after choosing my words and actions wisely, and strategically, make my side, my opinion, my thoughts, my needs and my joys known to those who need to know and can make a difference.

With age comes wisdom ......plus the time for ME ...so go for it plus just having ME time is good for you as it helps you grow - enjoy yourself
