Love it

We‘re back!  I loved every single bit of our vacation, but it was nice to see my ranch home and my fur babies.

Nothing says you’ve had a great trip like the excitement of your own bed!

The Celebrity Silhouette provided us with some pretty good culinary experiences-especially the grandkids!

Yes, the first night out we ate in the specialty restaurant The Lawn Grill.  After over a day of confinement in vans, airplanes/ports and a rather questionable hotel, the boys were allowed to run amok on the grass and then get washed up and put on chef’s aprons and get a cooking class on the art of flatbread pizza-making.  They had a blast!

The rest of the week had them eating the dining room out of shrimp cocktail and grilled salmon!  They also tried snails, frog legs, crepes filled with nutella and bananas (yes, they asked to watch them being made and were given a private view by the window of the crepemaker)and topped with caramel.   They also found out that baked Alaska was pretty good.

As usual, I stuck with the healthy and clean choices while my other half crammed as much red meat into himself as humanly possible.

He’s now restricted to chicken and fish for the remainder of the year!

Tonight-grilled chicken thighs with a chipolte-raspberry glaze, grilled corn with an evoo/lemon scented and garlic brush and a nice spinach salad.

No dessert either.

Love it
