SUPER!!!  Now he can leave this country....go live in Communist Cuba since you‘re a self proclaimed communist.  And Obama wanted him????  Now we just need to get rid of the rest of the Obama czars........

Czars.....why is it that Obama has so many?  Maybe because they do not have to be confirmed by the Senate and this is a way for him to push his agenda on to Americans.  Absolutely!

Van Jones is a racist and a disgrace to mankind. I’m thrilled that he is gone...and he couldn’t even resign without blaming somebody else for his actions.  Typical....

I see no communist proclamations. 9-11 should be investigated the truth should come out.

Reps say derogatory comments on dems as well, I’m guessing that is ok?

All I am asking is for all to please stop using name calling and hatred. Why is that so very hard!!

    • Van Jones is a self-proclaimed radical communist activist who served as the Obama administration’s Green Czar.[1] He announced his resignation at midnight, September 6, 2009 after a series of controversies over past inflammatory statements.

Jones previously served on the board of an environmental activist group at which a founder of the Weather Underground terrorist organization is a top director.[3]

      STORM

Jones was a founder and leader[4] of the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM). The organization had its roots in a group protesting the first Gulf War. The leftist blog Machete 48 identifies STORM’s influences as “third-worldist Marxism (and an often vulgar Maoism).“[5][6] In the early 2000s, Jones and STORM were active in the anti-Iraq War demonstrations organized by International ANSWER, a left wing anti-Semitic[7] front group for the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party (WWP).

On the night after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks STORM held a vigil in Oakland, California, “mourning the victims of U.S. imperialism around the world.” In a document entitled, Reclaiming Revolution: history, summation & lessons from the work of Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), Jones is quotesd as saying,

“Anti-Arab hostility is already reaching a fever pitch as pundits and common people alike rush to judgment that an Arab group is responsible for this tragedy,” said Van Jones, founder and national executive director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. “We fear that an atmosphere is being created that will result in official and street violence against Arab men, women and children.”

“Reclaiming Revolution” also blamed the U.S. for 9/11. A passage on page 45 (27 of the PDF file) reads:

“That night, STORM and the other movement leaders expressed sadness and anger at the deaths of innocent working class people. We were angry, first and foremost, with the U.S. government, whose worldwide aggression had engendered such hate across the globe that working class people were not safe at home. We honored those who had lost their lives in the attack—and those who would surely lose their lives in subsequent U.S. attacks overseas. [8]

Additionally, Van Jones signed a petition in 2004 suggesting that President George W. Bush and high-level government officials may have been behind 9/11. [9] However, he later said that he did not carefully review the language in the petition before agreeing to sign his name. [10]
      Community organizing during a riot

Van Jones first moved to San Francisco in the spring of 1992, while studying law at Yale, when the leftist Lawyers Committee for Human Rights hired several organizers to be on hand for the trial of policemen charged with beating Rodney King. Not guilty verdicts in the officer’s case resulted in riots which left 55 dead.[11] Although Jones had been working for the communist front organization STORM for one year, Jones and the truthout.org web site put forward a cover story that made it appear Jones experienced a jailhouse conversion to communism. Like another Obama associate, Bernardine Dohrn, Jones is a lawyer, avowed communist, associated with communist front organizations, and arrested in the aftermath of a deadly riot. The truthout.org site gives this biographical information on Jones:
" I met all these young radical people of color - I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of.‘...I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.... I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th. By August, I was a communist.[12] "
      Eco-apartheid
" I’m willing to forgo the cheap satisfaction of the radical pose for the deep satisfaction of radical ends....Our question is: Will the green wave lift all boats? That’s the moral challenge to the people who are the architects of this new, ecologically sound economy. Will we have eco-equity, or will we have eco-apartheid? Right now we have eco-apartheid. "

    • I find it interesting that the Obama staffers did not investigate this man to know how controversial he would be.  Or did they know and decide we wouldn’t care?  Either way, it suggests a lack of good judgement, imho.

    • Tracy....the topic is about Van Jones.  It’s not that Obama has czars...it’s about the types of people he chooses to be his czars.  But I do believe he has more than any president has ever had...and the past czars of former presidents were not out to change the fundamentals of our constitution...our nation.

Dick Cheney.....I don’t dislike him...but I’m not his biggest fan.  But he did help keep us safe since 911.  I do not feel as safe now as I did when Bush was in office.  That is how I feel...and I can’t help the way I feel.

Bush Administration.....they definitely had their flaws.  I didn’t always agree with everything.  His No Child Left Behind Act was a complete failure and was too costly for the states. But Bush stuck to his principals and never backed down or let others persuade him to be another way.  He was a Christian and stuck to his Christian values.  And I don’t expect anyone that is not a Christian to agree with my statement or even if you are.  I can’t imagine what he had to deal with after 911.

As far as looking for WMD....all I can say is....he might not have found any....but believe me....the enemies do have something they are hiding.  If you believe otherwise...then you are entitled to your opinion.  Saddam.....he was caught, tried, and put to death.  Rightfully so. I will never forget the day Saddam’s statue was torn down.  Very liberating!! He killed thousands of people...tortured them....how awful is that?  When men and women sign up to be in the military....they know what risks they are taking and they know what sacrifices they are making for our country.  4000 people were gone in one shot on Sept. 11th....what about those people?  I just watched a documentary on television tonight about 911 and it just confirms with me that what our military has sacrificed for us the past 8 years....was noble....and I appreciate them keeping us safe.  I am pro-military...always will be. If you don’t have a good defense...the economy...education....healthcare...won’t matter because you will not have a country.....so the roles the military play are number one in my book.

All I’m saying is....no other president that I can remember in my lifetime has even gone into office wanting to change the fundamentals in which this nation was built on....or try to re-write the constitution.

The people Obama has surrounded himself with have not been people that I feel have our country’s best interest at heart.  But I don’t care what anyone else thinks about what I think of Van JOnes...or what I call him...he was racist and he was lethal to this country.  I call it like I see it.

The czars are not what make the agenda he is taking us down...a socialistic one...it’s the whole picture of Obama...it’s his deisions, the people he surrounds himself with...the powers they have been given to change things without a vote...his comments.  It’s a combo deal.

I know you disagree with my views...and that’s okay.  But I will continue to fight for our rights...our freedoms...and I am not going to back down or play the politically correct game anymore.

      Thank you!

    • Mary I was responding to the post regarding the czars and wanted to make sure it was noted that it is not a socialist thing when czars have been appointed since FDR. I believe a statement was written he may have learned it from his socialst learnings.... that is what I was responding too.

I am willing to fight for my country too and refuse to read posts or blogs that criticize the President if the statements are untrue. No I dont agree with everything he says and does, but when the posts and blogs are filled with such hate and venom, I must respond. Not saying that your blog was filled with hate but some of the responses were.

The reason I asked you those questions is I wanted to know if you had just as much passion with the wrong doings of the Bush administration. Based on your response it looks like you do.

And yes Bush has kept us safe since 9/11 but lets not forget 9/11 did happen on his watch. We tend to forget about that.

All of our US soldiers know the risk when they sign up for the military. They know they may die, but let them die for the truth and not on a lie, like WMD was a lie. So did they die in vain?

    • Very well said Annie...and I do believe that people forget about all the attacks on America prior to Bush coming in....and I feel were swept under the rug to a degree. So just because it’s under someone’s watch...doesn’t mean that it was allowed...as some folks like to suggest.  When I have time today I will list all of those attacks...
