Ever see an equipment operator working on a tractor or bulldozer with a grease gun, lubricating the moving parts in order to keep the apparatus functioning smoothly and limiting wear and tear?  Watch a loader or excavator operate (or any machine, for that matter) and note the stress and obvious heat build-up in the "joints" of the machine.  Repetitive movement takes a toll on moving parts as we increase hours of operation.  How about keeping your vehicle serviced and properly oiled?  Does your car or truck operate efficiently with used-up, dirty oil or without proper servicing?  Of course not!  Just like a catastrophic failure can result in machines that are not properly lubricated and maintained, our joints can suffer the same fate if left to deteriorate from lack of "service and maintenance"!
