Oh golly.... I had a great phone interview yesterday with a recruiter for a job that would have been just AMAZING - a marriage of two things I loved in my previous company - project management and training...  However, the hiring manager won’t even interview me.  They are looking for “a needle in a haystack” according to the recruiter.  I’m frustrated because I think I would have been a great asset to their company... Oh swear-words!

The upside is I had another phone interview today with another company...  This particular job would be extensive travel to Michigan for the the three coldest months in the year... but, it could be a great opportunity...  And, one of my former colleagues (and someone I trained to be a project manager) works there and gave me great kudos... Then, to top it all off, the hiring manager had lunch today with a mutual friend, who out-of-the-blues mentioned my name...  Thus, the hiring manager said she would do everything she could to “open a door” for me with this company....

It is just like so many wrote in Teeky’s blog yesterday, when one door closes another opens...  I know that...  But I’d sure love to have a window every once in a while just so I could see what’s coming up...  Oh swear-words!
