Suffering from oily skin can be frustrating.  Many times, women are trying to find that perfect foundation that won't look glossy only minutes after they've applied it.   There are a lot of Oil Control Foundations on the market.  However, controlling oily skin shouldn't begin and end with the foundation.

What you cleanse your face with, can make a big difference.   Finding a Cleanser that has an Oil Control System, deep cleans and reduces pore size is a start. After cleansing, follow up with a Correction Lotion that will further minimize pore size and control surface oil. If you are using an anti-aging product, please note that Lanolin, Vitamin E, and Glycerin can make your skin appear oilier. Now, you are ready to use a foundation for oily skin. Many women prefer Mineral Foundations , as they are light and absorb some of the excess oils in their skin. However, a Cream to Powder Foundation is a good choice, as they go on light and set like a powder with a "matte" finish. If someone suffers from excess oily skin, it's a good idea to carry Shine Blotters . They are small sheets that soak up surface oils for on-the-go touch-ups.  Gently blot, not rub, so as to not disturb makeup.
