I can’t believe this is happening.  My grandmother has handed her chin whiskers down to me!  I remember she used to have 3 big ol’ black hairs at the tip of her chinny-chin-chin.  Today I felt something on my chin.  When I looked in the mirror, there they were, just about to poke out & say hello to the world!  I think I’m going to have to keep some tweezers in my purse!

    • Yes, my grandma had that too.  She would not let me pluck it for she said it meant for longevity.  She lived to be 95 or more.

    • I tweeze daily. All day long, in fact. If I misplace my tweezers during the day, everything must come to a halt until they are located.

You‘re probably laughing, but I’m serious. worried

    • Heather, I thought of you today because I have lost my tweezers! I imagined you having a full-blown panic attack and calling 911. I really have no clue where they went.

    • Lu, sometimes they run away. When you buy a pair you really like, it’s a good idea to go back and buy one or two more.

Dee Dee, I’ve already given up smoking. If I gave up tweezing I don’t know what I’d do with all that extra free time.

    • Oh, you have a tweezing monster in your house.

Clarification: Just in case....I don’t mean you.  This is refer to the blog I made earlier about Cookie Monster where my cookies were gone.  So in such case, you have a monster in your house that loves to take tweezers away.

My mother said don't PLUCK  - Yes I did & now her words ring in my ears ...."pluck one & three will come to the funeral...." which so true.

I’m now having laser treatment on the black ones/ whites/gray ones....

    • Ugh!!!I have a couple that sneak up on me every so often too.

I keep my ultra strength readers on the bathroom counter and try to remember to give myself a good check daily but sometimes I get so involved with trying to get my Eddie Munster eyebrows in shape I forget about the whiskers.

    • That stinks! I will probably get them in my mustache area. That is where I remember my grandma getting out her tweezers and plucking. She dies at 94 years old and was still such a priss about her appearance. She had her nails polished every day too.

    • I was at Sally’s buying some products and saw something that looked interesting. It is called “Smooth Away.” It is not a lotion. I am trying to think of the best way to describe it. lol   Okay, it looks like a small flip flop that you put a piece of what reminds me of very fine sandpaper on. But they are crystals. You can do your legs, face, and ?  I can’t remember what the others were.  You go around in circles to remove hair. It really does work well. I have very tender skin and over did it the first time. But it leaves the skin smooth as a babies bottom. I like it a lot.

I just found the website. It is easy to find and has a video.
I guess the hair will eventually start coming in finer and slower. It shows that you can do the bikini area, underarms. It even showed a man doing his chest hairs.

I got it for $10.00 at Sally’s. Their promotional is 2 for $14.-.

Let me know if you try it and how you like it.
