!pic   I made it. And I don’t say that lightly. OMGosh, I forgot how discombobulating it is to move.

I missed you all more than you know. But the computer is hooked up how, tongue out , and I’m so glad to be back.

Although I grew up in the east, I’d been in Texas so long I thought air conditioning was what air was. But here in my new little garden apartment in New Hampshire, the windows are open and this incredible thing called a “breeze” is coming in and me, bird Kirby, and kitteh Lexie are all totally excited about this. Lexie goes from window to window, sitting on the different sills, breathing in the country air.

I’m not a country person, but at least I’m in the middle of the downtown area and know how to get to I93. My family is doing wonderfully so my gratitude is over the top.

Kirby took the move very nonchalantly, without ruffling one feather. My new landlord loves her and the mockingbirds outside are copying her “sound” (I wouldn’t go so far as to say “song“.) but thankfully without Kirby’s shrill edge.

Pink chanelier is not yet hung, but there’s a spot for it in either the bedroom or the kitchen, so as soon as I can get an electrician, up it goes.

My new grand-baby is awesome, and I got here just in time to see him crawl for the first time!

Also, there’s great pizza here.

More later. Love you all.
