    • I think that most Americans would feel this way - It’s not about families wanting to go somethere that will give them a better life. Americans have always had the caring and compassion to do what they can for those people. It’s about the ones coming from lands far away with the intention to harm us and undo our way of life. So, yes, I feel that our borders need serious securing. One sentence in that article really stood out for me. The idea of re structuring our foundation. What the heck is wrong with the foundation of our country? We‘re a country of immigrants after all - just good honest hard working people coming to America to make their mark on the world and live a better life. But, in order to re structure a foundation you have to tear it down first - I don’t think we need to be torn down. We need to be re enforced. Our borders need to be augmented. Our president has never lived in a border town. Maybe there should be a town hall meeting in a place like Blaine Washington, San Diego California, Phoenix Arizona, Niagra Falls, New York - I’d love to know how the people at the mouth of our U.S. borders feel.

      Thanks, Jean, for the article!
