We spent several hours in ER-CT scan, chest xray, lab work and neurologist came in consult. No stroke, third nerve palsy caused by high blood pressure. Yes she was on medication for same, when she counted pills left after back home and subtracted how many she should have taken, she had missed quite a few doses.(Reeaaalllyyy?)

She came home day before Easter. Humbled I’m sure. She always bragged about how she was fairly healthy for her age because she ate well and was always so thin until she stopped smoking. She has COPD from all that smoking she did while she was eating so healthfully. Gets short of breath doing things around house.

Now we are on a continuous merry-go-round of doctor’s office visits, lab work, grocery shopping and bank visits. She can’t drive and I doubt she will ever be able to again. My sister in law and nephew are helping too. But I have the most time, being self employed, so I’m in charge. So, yes, it happened when I wasn’t paying attention-I became the parent and my mother became the teenager(she’s rebellious that way.)
