    • I am no longer married but my ex and I remain close friends - we do family get togethers for our daughter’s birthday, (and sometimes our own birthdays) and Christmas. We also run a local non-profit organisation. I believe we are a lot better off living apart. So while some people in my wider family consider my marriage a failure I don’t!

    • I really appreciate that approach and wholeheartedly agree! I won’t kid you that my ex cheated on me in a very bad way, but he’s still the father of my kids. I don’t have to be married to him, but he’s actually a pretty good dad and my kids need him.
