Hi All,

I have struggled with scoliosis of the spine for years. My spine was curved in 2 places and it threw my neck out so I was constantly in pain. Pain for me was normal. I did not know what normal was until the pain stopped and I realize that I was not crazy all those years when I complained to my friends and loved ones that I was experiencing pain even in my finger nails. My girl friend use to laugh at me when I tell her that I feel like I am driving the car over my eye balls.

Well I have been experiencing normal for two years now because my doctor guided me through a very simple process that I did at home. Within one month my spine after 43 years became straight. My neck though still clicks like a power steering that is going low on fluid as I need to get a more modern equipment to work with. Until I have this in place I have been experiencing painfull rest at nights as I cannot get a comfortable bed to sleep on. Over the past year I have changed 5 beds. I am open for suggestions for a new bed so I can get a good night rest or for that matter when ever I feel like resting. My bed cannot be too hard it must be firm but cushie cushie...It must hug me to sleep...lol. Hope to get some good ideas from you all.

    • What about your pillow? My chiropractor told me that when we sleep we end up with our chin in an un natural position. (on our chest). Therefore instead of the normal arch of our neck,(look at the way a neck curves),we put stress on our neck and upper spine. He suggested a round pillow. I had a choice of firm and extra firm and it cost $30 at his office. My insurence paid for it. What a difference!! I since replaced it and just went to a store to buy one. You probably should get one firm enough to maintain it‘shape if you decide to try this.I have two ruptured discs and have never had another pain. Good luck,Connie
