My buddy Merlotta dropped in the other day to show off her new figure. She’s been dieting all summer and has dropped several dress sizes. She said she actually got into a size four, after the sales clerk chided her with, “Honey, you don’t even know what size you wear.”

I get the same comment, when the sales clerk takes the size four skirt out of my hand and gently replaces it with a tent.

    • I would love to be in a size four.  Those were the days....whenever the heck they were.  Who can remember?

But...that is soooo rude of anyone to make such a comment.  It would definitely make me want to put back whatever I was buying and let them know why.  That clerk needs several lessons in  “customer service“.

    • Hi Mary,

I think the clerk meant it as a compliment. My friend had lost so much weight that when she was shopping she kept pulling clothes off the rack to try on that were too big for her. That’s when the clerk made the comment and gave her a size four. The comment about me was a joke.

    • Oooohhh...I am so sorry.  I guess I read that wrong.  I thought the clerk was saying that obviously she didn’t know her size and went and got a bigger size for her.

Well....in that case...that has happened for me yet...LOL.
Great for your friend though...a good problem to have I would say.  Thanks for clearing that up for me
