Hi Ladies~

I want to share a personal story with you which I feel is extremely important to discuss.

When my 11 year old daughter was 4 1/2 yrs old, she started to develop breast tissue.  Yes, little budding boobies at this tender age!  I took her to her pediatrician who wrongly diagnosed her with gynecomastia - a disorder usually affecting men who grow breast tissue.

I was not satisfied with his casual blow off as I saw it. So I started researching everything that could help me understand what was happening to my daugher and to prevent this from happening again to my other daughter who was only 3 months old.

During my research, I learned many things.  For one, baby products were not so gentle after all.  Many items like baby wipes contained chemicals that we use for anti-freeze in our cars and for de-icing planes.  Also, the non tearing shampoos were loaded with chemicals - some of which actually numbed the eyes so they don’t tear!!!  WOW! that’s horrible, I thought!  Just as important if not more was the amount of hormones and antibiotics in the fast food chicken and beef that are used to bulk the animals up!  The bigger the meat portion, the more of it they can sell, the more money they make!

Now during my pregnancy with her, I ate at the golden arches or any other fast food place.  Whatever I felt like eating, I did. (I only gained 16 lbs, though) but none the less, I ate this aftificial food that had been injected with growth hormones and antibiotics.

Later, is was discovered that her early onset of puberty called “precociouls puberty” was contributed my what I put into my system while carrying her AND trips to the fast food places when she was very little.

As a result, she started her menstrual cycle at the ever so early age of 8 almost 9.  She is 11 yrs old now and has the figure of a 14 yr old.  Scary!

Since the discovery of the hormone precursors and toxic baby products, I have switched to organic milk, eggs, chicken, fish and beef.  I also started to develop a baby skin care line that did not contain any toxic ingredients like Sodium lauryl sulfate (which has been found in some breast tumors but is often used in shampoos and facial cleansers), hormone precursors, propelyne glycols (main ingredient in anti-freeze), formaldehyde donors or any  thing else that could possibly be bad for my babies.  Eventually, this baby line turned into Pure Skin Junkie which I have formulated and have on the market now.

My message to every mother or grandmother is that your child’s health is important but can be overlooked by our traditional comfortabilities.  Be an ingredient detective.  Do your due dilligence and research what you are actually putting onto your babies/children’s bodies as well as what you put into their mouth!  Don’t let them eat junk.  I know it’s terribly hard because junk food tastes great!  But there are healthy alternatives that you can find.

I feel bad for my daughter  because she is emotionally 9 but her elevated hormones are making her look older and feel  older.  She doesn't even know what these feeling are and that is what is difficult for her.  I'm sure we can all remember what we were feeling when we hit puberty, right??  Most of us were teens, she is barely a tween.

Precosious puberty is not supposed to happen to our children.  I am happy to say that since I made the switch to organic healthy food, my youngest daugher, now 6, is still a little 6 yr old. No boobies, thankfully!

Yes, Organic food is costly, but I wanted to spare no expense when it came to my children.  Natural skin care products for children or adults are a bit more expensive as well but well worth it, I believe!

I hope you can spread this message to all of your loved ones and I welcome any comments that you may have!

    • Not only is fast food great tasting....they are made to become addictive! As well as so many other foods out there that are literally killing us. Thank you Cristina for sharing such a powerful message. I was very young when I was diagnosed with a severe stage of female condition and had so many other health issues including never having any children of my own. I understand what it is like to be young yet feel so old. So I have seen first hand what our environment can do. I am blessed to have the amazing nutrition that I now put in my body as well as eat organic (unfortunatley, our soil is depeleted of nutrients). This is so important for our children! We have to do all we can for prevention. I am excited to meet you and I’m sharing your information with everyone I know about your skin care products. Thanks again for such powerful information.

      Blessings heartestatic

    • I’m so sorry this happened to you and your daughter - must have been very scary.

I agree but can I say your drugs rules regarding cosmetics, toiletries are way more lax than allowed in the UK - I have bought stuff in the US years ago and was told the reason we couldn’t buy it here (it was a face cream) was it had anti freeze which scared me as I had been lathering it all over my face and neck and it did “iron ” out the creases !

    • Thank you, ladies!  Can you imagine anti-freeze. Bad enough just knowing that most traditional products are made with it because it is cheap (inexpensive) to use.  The US is horrible with the allowance of chemicals in foods and personal care products!  And you are correct Rose, the foods are made to be very addictive!  We are one of the only countries that has not banned the use of Hydroquinone - a potent skin lightener, but extremely toxic to the body!

Unfortunately, we have to educate ourselves and a lot of people aren’t even that concerned about it until something unfortunate happens to them!  WE are the voices for our children and we have to advocate for them on all issues even these!

    • I think the reason you have so many chemicals in food and toiletries etc; is due to your lobbying laws – if you actually look at the groups which look after these companies they are very powerful within your country – as we know money talks ......

    • My humble opinion is your electoral procedure takes way to long. Ours takes 6 weeks from beginning to end and there is a cap on spending as regards advertising on TV/ newspapers/ billboards so its as painless as possible. Sadly yours takes forever and is costly so hence all these groups like the lobby groups fund different parties and then want payback when their man is in power - just simple maths.

You the voter is caught in the middle and pay a huge price unknowingly.

    • THat is such a sad story.  I am fortunate that I knew of these things BEFORE I got pregnant and have been extremely careful with what my entire family ingests and puts on their skin.

Thank you for making a product that is safe and natural!

    • Well, suffice to say that I knew about the hormones in cattle, chicken and dairy as well, but was one of the many that thought it could not ever happen to me!  That is the sad part of the story.  I could have prevented it, but I didn’t realize the impact that it could have.  I know now and I want to continue to spread the word!!!

    • @ Trudy

I have a page that’s title ingredients.  You can see all of the ingredients that I use there.  Also, I use some ‘natural’ chemicals that our own body produces.  I just source it from plants.  If you need to know about any specific ingredient that I use, please don’t hesitate to ask!estatic
