My youngest boy Jack started preschool this week.  He will be going once a week on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  He had a very good transition to this preschool as this is where MOPS is helds.  I have been going to MOPS for some time.  MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  They meet twice a month, the mothers get a nice hot delicious breakfast, enjoy fellowship and prayer time with fellow moms, and the kids go to the preschool for FREE!

We took pictures before taking him there and at the preschool too.  First I dropped my oldest son off at his school which is like 5 minutes from Jack’s preschool.  Then I dropped Jack off at the preschool.  His teacher’s name is Ms. Jaclyn, which I think is kinda cute.

The number of kids in the 3 year old classroom varies from day to day and even during each individual day.  Some come just for the morning and some stay the whole day.

When I left Jack and then went to work, I felt a little sad!  frown My baby boy is growing so fast.  Next year, he will be going to kindergarten.  Hopefully in the fall, he will be able to preschool for 2 or 3 days a week.

I think preschool is important for kids.  They start learning things and it helps with their socialization skills.  Jack is home with just his dad every day and this will give him an opportunity to be around kids his own age and hopefully form some new friendships.
