After losing some significant weight loss, one of the best bonus item so far has been shopping for pretty bras.

I did some research and found out that something like 70% of women are walking around, wearing the wrong sized bra! So, I spent the money and met with a professional bra-fitter (easy to find her in California).

Then I went to Victoria’s Secret and was fitted for a bra there and guess what? Yup, the size was exactly the same. Well, at least now I know that the VS girls are trained and the price is right.

I got my bras and they are sooooo pretty, but now I’m lookin’ at everyone boobs, dying to stop them and tell them they may be wearing the wrong sized bra.

Hugs, kelly

    • Hi Kelly, key words, significant weight loss...unfortunately I haven’t had enough weight loss to be able to find pretty bras.  I am going through that dilemma right now.  I went to one store here in Houston that were  supposed to be bra specialist and $65 later it’s the most uncomfortable bra I own.  My cup size isn’t that big, it’s the size around that hinders me. Not too many 48C-50C’s out there.  They told me that I need a D but when I use that the cups are slightly baggy.  Just don’t know what to do, I just want the girls lifted up where they used to be....LOL  I wish they made a push up bra to create that great clevege for us girls that are blessed...sure would be nice!

    • I have trouble finding the right size bras too.  I’m barely a C cup, really a B and a half.  And I have a large rib cage.  You just don’t find many 38B’s.  So, I go up to a C to get the 38 and like Robbie, I end up slightly baggy.

    • Hi Kelly,

I like VS unders but I discovered Freya a little bit ago and love them.

I am a pretty healthy size bust and Freya makes some beautiful bras for the girls.

    • Hi Vikki!  Okay, so what’s the scoop on Freya? Do you buy on-line or?  I’ve not heard of them!  Probably because I’ve been just buying my bras as Walmart for so long. ox

    • LOL! I buy mine thru Nordstroms.... and once I was fitted I bought online. They are european size so they run a lil different than VS.
They are gorgeous and you don’t have to have little itty bittys to wear them

    • Can I recommend a great site which ships to the US and due to currency should be cheap ... they are aimed at the larger lady ..

    • Since I’ve gained weight I am not fitting into my old bras well but I still keep shoving the girls in them. I don’t want to try new ones on and see how much weight I’ve “really” gained.

    • Glad you like the site - the shops are fabulous they have one on one service and nothing is too much trouble - I have bought a blouse and a dress and guess what it doesn’t gape on the buttons ...

The Freya is great - I’m a big fan but her own brand is amazing ..

    • If you decide to order online, would you check first to see if there is a link to them through the Upromise link in my signature line?

I’m trying to help my brother’s children save up for college and I’m determined that all of my online shopping will be through Upromise.

Thanks a bunch.  I have ordered from VS and their bras are not comfortable for me.  I buy minimizers to hold the gals in because they like to jiggle.  estatic  I order through Bare Necessities.  They have tons of intimate apparel.  There is also a link to them via the Upromise link.

MzTracy, the order you placed through B&N came through with a donation of almost $2.00 to their Upromise fund.  Thank you so much!  Don’t worry.  I can’t see what you‘re ordering. giggle
