Tuesday night while fixing dinner I saw that the puppy had something in her mouth.  I went after her to see what she had.  As I approached her a spray of white burst from her mouth.  I felt the floor and it was powder.  I grabbed her and pulled the shell of a pill from her mouth!
It was a prozac. It was a dosage that my daughter had not taken since last summer.  Apparently it had been caught under the cupboard between the floor boards where a broom and mop wouldn’t get it.

I called the emergency vet and they said it was 25 X’s the dose she should have because she only weighs 7 lbs..  It was toxic.
I couldn’t get her to drink the hydrogen peroxide they told me to give her to make her vomit.

So, Emily and I raced the 40 minutes away to the emergency vet.  They gave her something so she would vomit and charcoal. They sent us home with a med to protect her brain. I had to watch her for seizures.

Thankfully, she is now her old self!
