I dance in elevators. [A guy caught me doing THAT today]. I sing at random times. I’m just generally quirky. When someone says I’m weird, I say THANK YOU. estatic [Although, I KNOW they weren’t giving me a compliment].

Life’s too short to NOT enjoy outbursts of silly.
I have many, many episodes of my inner child escaping.

I often joke that my inner child (who’s 10) is SCREAMING to escape from this nearly 50 year old body.

My mom had a child-like wonder and quirkiness about her. I guess I’ve developed some of my own.

What fun things do YOU do to embrace your inner child?

    • estatic What a great topic!!!  My inner child forces me to throw my arms wide and lean into the wind when it’s blowing like crazy.  What a blast!

My inner child made me paint the trim on my house purple, a lovely vibrant shade of eggplant purple.

    • Oh, and I still like to run thru mud puddles barefoot.   And I embarass my children too, but they’ll get over it someday.

    • I sing in public restrooms, and on walks. I talk in fake accents. I make up silly songs to sing to children, and respond to much of life with a song. After all, life is a musical, isn’t it?estatic

when we are in the store, and the song ” Sir Duke ” by Stevie Wonder comes on ( it seems to come on whenever im in the broom and mop isle ) i grab what ever i can, and do my flag routine from high school to that son! LOL

i sing randomly in the store, play in the rain and have water fights while doing dishes! lol

    • Way to often it grabs me and doesn’t let go!  I’m working minding my own business talking away to myself someone walks by who are you talking to? Me, oh..  I called my son names like “porkchop” when he was little.  We’d be in a store and I’d say come on Porkchop, people look at you strange, but oh well life’s to short.  I make up songs/rhymes around one word, this drives my family nuts, that’s what I’m here for.

      Lazylola,
I didn’t think anyone else but me used the term “chair dance” how wonderful to know there are OTHERS out there in this world.

      estatic
