Every person who meets Sandy immediately feels that they are her 'soul mate'. Men and women alike want her for their best friend. Her easy laugh and her warmth make one feel that life is going to be okay, no matter the circumstances. Born and raised in Minnesota Sandy pulls from her life history and growing up in a family with 11 siblings. She has learned to dig deep in her soul to uncover dreams when she was not taught to dream, she fought cancer and won – twice, and has learned how to survive against the odds, she was brave enough to leave a 20-year abusive marriage and has taken the lessons to teach women to be true to themselves, and she had a 30-plus-years love affair with food. As a compulsive overeater Sandy likes to say that she was part bulimic, "I binged but I forgot to purge!" She teaches men, women, and children how to replace the love of food with the love of self by getting to know the person they were created to be.

With lively keynotes, workshops and seminars, Sandy has been teaching audiences to 'Ignite Their Fire' (some for the first time in their lives). She has challenged hundreds of thousands of audience members to take back the remote control of their own lives. She is a much sought-after life coach for musicians, women and anyone wanting to get UNstuck in areas of their life where they are stuck, or to take down self-imposed walls so they can get up every day excited to do it all over again!

Sandy's personal one-on-one phone coaching has clients taking down walls of their own making, many times breaking through decades-old voices and hurtful words stored in their head that can contribute to buried dreams. Sandy's training helps clients breathe life into THEIR life and uncover buried dreams.

Sandy has the audience's heart the minute she steps into a room, with her big smile, her self-deprecating humor, and down-to-earth approach to enjoying the life they have. Her desire is to have every person in her audience have "A-ha!" moments during her presentations. Her emotional, humorous approach to helping others is lighthearted, challenging, and entertaining.

Sandy is an expert on the online Women's Information Network, doing two shows weekly to help women 'Imagine Living the Life They were Created to Live', and simple ways to live their own life. She gives teleclasses, and teaches the 'Guardian Angels', an outreach program offering housing and life lessons to less fortunate people. Sandy was nominated for the Humanitarian of the Year Award.

Sandy is the author of several books, and is a favorite guest on many radio and television shows around the country

Sandy is the President of the National Speakers Association of Tennessee.

She is currently putting together a program to bring community back to this country that is hungry for human connection, and once people meet Sandy they will never forget her spirit. Sandy's biggest impact is her personal approach with people that she meets as she travels the world sharing her heart.

She now makes her home in Nashville TN.
