What’s in a name?

MARY: Middle English form of French Marie  (Greek & Latin Maria), meaning “obstinacy, rebelliousness” or “their rebellion.” In the bible, this is the name of many characters, including the mother of Jesus and a sister of Lazarus.

I found this at

I find that rebellion and obstinacy do have meaning as to who I am. I have never been someone to follow easily and will rebel against accepted norms for change. I also can be really stubborn at times and will not budge if I know in my heart that it is the right thing to do.

I would be interested in others checking out the meaning of their names and seeing if they feel the meaning applies.
