Sitting in my chair staring out of the window on this rain soaked day. The sky is gray and gloomy without the rays of sun. As I wonder what the remains of the day will bring I am taken to mind of my beloved Greenville, South Carolina.

What I remember best about Greenville are the beautiful mountains with trees growing tall and full. There is still the beauty that only God can create. The flowers bloom everywhere including in the trees. Rivers run and roads curve to meet you as you travel to and from your destination. The smell of pine along with the sweet fragrance of the rose fill the air with every breath you take. It stirs the senses and makes you smile. It is here that I woke up every morning just to go outside to meet the sun or the clouds or the rain. Greenville is like that favorite blanket that you would wrap around your shoulders to feel safe and secure. Of the places I have lived, Greenville would be where I call home.  

I miss home.
