Love it

Well, here it is December as I read past blogs I realize that once agin the  roteness of life has taken over yet again.  I say I want to feel alive by doing new things and change into the person I know i can be by reading, educating self thru classes, putting people into my life as mentors etc.. and yet I am now thinking there has got to be a reason I am not doing any of those things yet again. I  just  have  to figure  what those things are. I have tried simplifying my life my stepping out of things that I dont enjopy any longer and yet I somehow fill the time with other things I dont care about

    • First of all, welcome back! I’ve noticed you haven’t been around much and it’s great to see you here again.

You know I think sometimes that old habits are difficult to break. You may be stepping out of your comfort zone in too many areas at once. A suggestion I have is to take the list of things you would like to change, prioritize it by easiest to most difficult and tackle them one at a time that way. With each little success you’ll be propelled to the next with more energy and resolve.

I hope that helps! Take care and happy holidays!

    • I agree with Cynthia!

I know that when I decided to change my medical future I was overwhelmed with ALL that needed to be done. Then I decided if I truly wanted change then I had to attack one item at a time until it became habit.

Those new habits meant breaking old habits and it takes time, patience and perserverence!

    • Yashis, don’t beat yourself up so much, dear. Short of an immediate change you don’t have control of, it takes time to implement changes. It’s gradual and has to be in our comfort zone to start with. And, “City Slickers” is a Great movie! I also love, “Shall We Dance“. ;oD
I find both inspirational though the movie stars are men. A good one with a woman is, “27
      Dresses“.
