This season of life has me living with roommates. I could stop there! I had no idea that there was so many things to consider. It’s not too late to fix but it sure is trying my patience.

What one thing would you share from your past experiences that will help me along in the future? If you think your information is useful or relevant it probably is! So let us hear it even if you have to post anonymously.

Thanks!

    • Girl say lots of prayers even though I know you do lol, but in all seriousness you should speak with them and lay down some ground rules especially if it has  anything to do with tidiness of the main part of the living quarters. I can’t stand clutter or things not being put back in its proper place that drives me nuts and my hubby has a bad habit of not putting things away.tongue out

    • Oh gosh, good luck with that Donna. I haven’t had a roommate since forever. My hubbys another story, so thats a giventongue out But roommates. I just remember when I had a roommate I was the one cleaning up all the time. You need to set some rules on the housekeeping situation so your not doing it all the time and when they cook something they need to clean up after themselves.

Just sit down with them and talk about what needs to be done and the rules. Talking about it is a start, that way they won’t say “but you didn’t tell me that or you didn’t say I couldn’t do this”

    • It’s not just cleaning. And I don’t really want to spill it all because I don’t think it will change. I’m looking at me and at this moment I say I don’t want to live with roommates ever again I need my own space. Roommates are personalities, doubled. Living with my own three children was nothing like this.

    • So true!

       Roommates are personalities, doubled.

Good luck! I hope it gets better for you or at least livable soon.
