I went home for the Holiday and my mother was in the worst health that I have ever seen her in. It seems that she was going under right in front of my eyes and there was nothing I could do. I don’t know what I would do If I were to lose her she has been my rock. the last three years have been the worst in my life and if it wasn’t for her I really don’t believe I’d be here. Just needed to vent thanks for listening.’

    • Tori I’m so sorry.. I know exactly what your going thru.. I’m going thru the same thing too.. My mom is having some health issue herself too she has been in and out of the hospital..
I feel the same way too about my mom she has been my rock when I was at my lowest point in my life and now it’s my turn to be there for her..
I told her that she has always been there for me and that now it’s my turn to be there for her she does have her moments but she knows that I won’t give up just like she didn’t give up on me.. She was both mom and dad to me and my 3 other siblings.. So no matter what be there for her even if she tells you she doesn’t need any help..
I agree with Melissa tell your mom exactly what you told us, she will appreciate it ALOT!!
If it wasn’t for my mom I really don’t know where I would be right now.. My mom is the BEST!!

    • tori, all I can say is I’m sorry. I do know how you feel and that is no comfort at all b/c it will not change a thing.
You and your mother are in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry to see she is suffering so and you feeling helpless.
Please kept us up on how things are with you both.
      Love, Maria

    • Tori I’m sorry to hear this. I know this has been a rough year for you; lots going on and some heavy heart decisions you’ve had to make.

I pray that the coming year is better for you but for now I understand you’ve been through a lot.

    • Hang in there. Very hard to watch mother struggle, kind of changes role we had with one mom had-caregiver. Hard to become the parent.
