We had a wonderful time at the wedding.  It was a co-worker friend of Bob’s.  The ceremony was short and sweet, but a bit warm inside as there was no air conditioning, so we were a bit sweaty, but all was well after that..the trolley ride from the hotel to the church and back was fun and the reception was beautiful.  It was held in the Hyatt Regency in downtown Philadelphia right on the Delaware River and quite pretty.  Our rooms were beautiful with plush bedding and an awesome view.  The reception started with a cocktail hour which served the most delicious appetizers...everything from hummus on crisp pita to small braised lamb chops, the open bar was all top shelf.

The dinner was fantastic..a crisp salad, a small filet mignon with a crab cake, sauteed veggies, petite potatoes, sorbet in between to cleanse the palate and the dessert was yummy...a chocolate cup filled with strawberry mousse and a chocolate dipped strawberry along with a piece of the wedding cake, coffee and Tazo tea, my favorite.

The band that played was the best I ever heard at a wedding, the music ranged from 50’s to present...really fantastic!  We all danced, ate and talked..a really fun night.  We all wished Jill and Patrick lots of love and congrats that evening.  The next morning we enjoyed a delicious brunch presented to the guests that stayed overnight along with a special goody bag made up by Jill.

Now, I need to work on getting my pics posted (problems with file size, maybe?) so bear with me, it will be completed.  All in all, a wonderful happy occasion!
