In the beginning my life was very abusive. Abused from the age of 6yrs to 12yrs in my home, a battered wife for 7 years, raped, beaten, low-self esteem, Church abused, Manic Depression, Mental Institution, Addiction to perscription medication, loss of joy, Endometriosis, Hysterectomy early in life, Menopause in my early 30’s and thats just to name a few. To say the least it has been a very difficult ride.  Im sharing these personal things with you in this word of encouragment because I really want you to understand that GOD CAN TURN THINGS AROUND! Based on my experiences I thought that life only left me three choices. I would either 1. Be in Prison 2. Be in a mental institution for the rest of my life or 3. Be dead. That is what I thought, lived and operated from for many years, and then I read this: Ecclesiastes 3:1  To everythin there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which has been planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. I don’t know about you but I have experience many of those seasons in my life and one thing I can tell you is this “There were some hard times and hard lessons to learn through it all but I AM STILL HERE! Just as the seasons changed for me they are changing all the time for you. I don’t know what season you may be in now, but be encouragaed in knowing that you will come through this. You must FIGHT with everything you have left. You must LOVE like you have no sense the Lord with all you heart, soul and strength and you MUST love your neighbor as yourself. You must be willing to do the things that you have to do to be okay. You must take your medicine and treatments, You must pray, you must embrace the people around you and let go of your pride issues. YOU MUST BELIEVE that this is only a test and a season, and YES SEASONS DO CHANGE! I love you. Make it an aweome day.
