What do you do when the seed you sowed doesn’t bear fruit?  Do you plow over it or nurture it?  So many things in life seem to take longer than we wish, but bloom in its season.  Left unattended because of disappointment or lack of patience it seems to get strangled by the unwanted weeds of our lives, and buried under the falling leaves as the seasons change.  Next year the weeds are sure to return right in the spot we planted our seed but under it all does a sapling struggle to emerge?   Plowing over it to start over uproots it, kills and if our actions remain the same assures fertile grounds for more weeds to take root.

Remember the desires of your youth, the plans you made the projects you started?  Look deeper, uncover them from under the dead leaves and strangling weeds and let the sunshine of hope warm the soil.  Cultivate the area with new determination, nurture it with your time, water it with your attention and watch the seed you sowed grow.

What is your seed? Is this your season?

Blessings, Deanna
