Today was my second garden class.  It was a little shorter than last week as the coordinator was very busy with some yard work that had to be done.  Everyone was eager to hear what garden I would like to adopt as my own.  There are several gardens there that need tending to..the bog garden, perennial garden, veggie garden, pond garden, and a few others.  I chose the woodland garden, as that poor garden needs some TLC and I thought what a great place to start as I see myself as a nurturer and boy, it needs help.  The head gardeners gave me insight as to what they will be doing to jump start this area, so when I start my first day, it will be easier to navigate around the area.  Of course, being in the woodland area warrants major bug spraying of my clothing and body parts so as to ward off that infamous critter..the TICK!  I am a little nervous about the ticks as the coordinator informed me she has had Lyme disease twice, and with my Fibromyalgia I have to be prepared and keep myself safe.  Anyhoo, it will be a fun and rewarding experience and everything I learn will be shared here with all who share a passion for gardening.

Much peace and happiness!heart
