Just recently, my friend, Bob Cohen sent me an email outlining a request for pens and pencils to be sent to Kenya.  I decided to share his letter with you in hopes that you will bundle those extra pens and pencils (I know you have lots of them!) and send them to Bob so that he can distribute them to very deserving kids. Hats off to you, Bob!

Dear Friends,

Once again, we will be sending pens and pencils to rural schools in Kenya.  During an African Safari, I met Ben Malasi the Kenyan Tour Director.  Ben personally delivers these pens and pencils to needy schools.  It is hard to classify them as schools in that they have no resources most not even floors.

No one needs to buy  new pens or pencils.  I think we all accumulate excess writing tools either from work, travel, or promotions.  Don't worry we will not call the pencil police. If you chose to make a contribution you can send it to us at the address below, and we will assure you that it will get into the hands of grateful kids.  Because of the complications with Customs in Kenya and the expense of shipping, please limit your donation to pens and pencils.

Thank you.

With warmest regards, Bob Cohen
