My daughter enrolled in Veterinary Nursing School today!
I'm so happy for her and so proud!! She starts Oct. 5th. Woo Hoo!!!
When she said she wanted to take the year off after her high school graduation last year, I was afraid she would decide she was happy making min wage. Well...that only lasted less than a year and she said that was enough. She toured the school last year, and said she wasnt ready yet. Then Morgan had her surgery, she saw the vet nurse's there, and decided it was time. We went and toured the brand new school today and she enrolled right there. As Doreen pointed out to me, Morgan (our golden retriever) is an inspiration to her. What a terrific way to look at it!
The school is only about 30 minutes away, so she will commute.
She will continue to work at her job thru school, they will work around her school hours. They are really supportive of kids furthering their education.
Whew...I can breath a sigh of relief! Ahhh!!

Like I told Doreen, when this happened to Morgan, and I had to hand over all that money for her surgery. I kept saying...everything happens for a reason and one day we will find out why this happened. It only took 2 weeks for me to find out. It just took Doreen pointing it out to me!
That is great! My oldest starts high school this fall...what will she decide???? She hates school but does well, is athletic, and creative. I suppose she will “do me proud“!
I’m sure she will do you proud Moni! Sometimes they just have to do it in their own time. I’m so glad I didn’t push her to do this last year like I wanted her to do. I think it means so much more when they make the decision on their own.

Your right. I nearly fell over when Doreen said that. It just really hit me. That whole ordeal with Morgan was so draining. But now I see why and it was sooo worth it. This is Steph’s passion and I’m sure she will love what she has chosen to do.

Morgan is doing great! It amazes me how fast they bounce back. We are having trouble keeping her down!! How’s Cozmo doing? Didnt you say he was hurt again?
