We're inundated daily by marketing messages regarding the next 'miracle' skin care treatment. The reality is that when it comes to skin care, there are no miracles.

Great skin depends upon many things, but a miracle or a miracle ingredient, is not one of them. Healthy skin also depends upon a realistic appreciation for your skin type, your genetic make-up and how you may respond to any given treatment. It's not necessary to spend $200 on the latest botanical or laboratory invention with a scientific sounding name.

Instead, form good skin care habits and stick to them. The only skin care miracles you'll need are the following 5 tips. Repeat to yourself, the following skin care mantras:

1.I shall not go into the sun unprotected. UV rays are without a doubt, the biggest cause of skin aging. 2.I will wash my face every day. At the end of a hard day most of us just want to collapse into bed. Facial cleansing removes more than just make-up, it also removes any pollutants, bacteria and unwanted debris off your face.
