In the quest for healthy and youthful skin, one can't argue with the fact that we should be choosing products (and ingredients) that make sense for our specific skin needs. In addition to lifestyle factors:

•Removing make-up before retiring
•Protecting skin from sun and
•Moisturizing when needed
we should also incorporate ingredients that can help to protect and prevent skin from the effects of every day living and aging.

The use of a well formulated UVA/UVB blocking suncreen as in [Link Removed] cell communicating ingredients, peptides and a host of other skin beneficial elements work together to deliver skin that looks and feels great.

Wouldn't it be useful, though to know exactly what our skin needs? That's why you may be interested to hear about a new company in Greece that uses machinery to track individual skin biology and develop customized cosmetics to match. One caveat (of course) is that there don't seem to be any studies showing whether this new technique really delivers benefits. And, it doesn't come cheap. A consultation runs about $70, with a personalized jar of cream around $180.

I'm not sure that you need a machine to tell you what's wrong with your skin. If you have acne, you probably already know that you do. Likewise, for age spots, wrinkles and saggy skin. Certainly it's always exciting to hear about new technology that can help to deliver healthy skin, but I can't see the benefits of this one yet. For now I'll keep wearing my sunscreen every day and stick to the mirror for guidance regarding my skin's appearance. I'm waiting this one out.
