Okay, many of you may know or not how the weather in Tennessee is. I can’t even begin to tell you because it changes from minute to minute. But, it doesn’t really do much drastic changing, of course the temp will drop from 55 degrees to 27 in 20 minutes. Or the sun will shine on one side of your house while it’s raining on the other, (I have really seen this.) But, in all of my years here I’ve only lived through 2 major snow/ice storms in west TN. They always say it’s going to happen but then it just kind of bypasses us—-so I don’t really believe it, I think they just want it to happen.  Now it is! Here I am watching it come what I consider a virtual blizzard out the window. The forecast called for a tenth of an inch of snow/ice, wintry mix to begin with, then they decided to say 3-6 inches, now they’ve upgraded to at least 10 inches. I should enjoy it, everyone else seems to like it, even the cold. I am going to just admit it though, I wasn’t made for the cold. Even worse than the cold, I do not like to not have electricity. It’s bad enough that good old ATT decided to not post my phone payment for 2 days, now the pay store is closed, my phone service won’t work until it posts and that could be at least three days from now, they are closed today due to the snow. But, I guess I will pull my hair out if the electricity goes, then the battery in my laptop goes, I’m out of Internet. Yes, I’d say that makes me spoiled but I want my electricity to stay on. Is that so bad? Glad I don’t live in Alaska or even Illinois. I could make the most of it, I have a friend out there building a snowman and an igloo—-I think she’s a little more ambitious than me and I really wonder what she’s going to do with that igloo?
