Just looking for your opinion and to see if I am not going crazy.  LOL  Well, the latter might not be conclusive! LOL
Anywho, last week on facebook, an ex employee of one of the offices I work at, she alerted me to some not nice things a subcontractor to that office was posting.  I checked it out and was appalled at what I saw.  Long story short, he was badmouthing the owner about not being paid and what a piece of sh*t he was and so on.  Well, I told the ex employee, who is friends still with me and the subcontractor, that I was not so very happy with what was being posted that if he had a problem he should tell the owner and not plaster it all over the internet on a public forum.  This subcontractor “defriended” me on facebook as he learned of my disagreement with what he was posting.  I told him flat out he was wrong and I didnt agree and yada yada yada.  This guy I will see in the office and it just will turn my stomach knowing what he said and what a phoney he really is.  Mind you, he still is working for us.  I so want to tell my boss but on the other hand, I dont know what I should do.  How would you handle it and/or how should I??

    • I think youre right Term.  Ive been tossing this back and forth for a week now.  Very unnerving.  I think my boss should be concentrating on giving the work to a different sub.

    • He would know it was me that said something.  I just really dont think it’s right that he did that.  My boss consistently worries about paying him.  Yes, times are hard, and yes, my boss is behind an invoice or two but it doesnt/didnt warrant what was being said about him, especially on facebook!!!  The contractor forgets that my boss deposits directly into his C/A for him and also pays him cash a lot of the times.

My boss and I are friendly. Ive been working for him since 2005.  It just kills me when my boss tells me to write out a check for him, like today.  I so wanted to say something right then and there but held back.  I think moreso because I dont want to hurt his feelings.

      xoxo
