I just wanted to let everyone know my Son in laws brother was shot in the upper grion leg in main artery while being robbed in a parking lot, this weekend.

He was with friends driving his truck, he let his best friend and his friends date in on one side of the truck and he walked to the other side of the truck, un known to him is friends were being robbed on one side as he felt a gun in his back and a voice saying give me your wallet.  He turned around and the gun was in his chest.  He instintively moved the gun away from his chest and the robber shot him in the groin on his leg hitting a main artery.. while he lay bleeding he was robbed for only 80 dollars and four credit cards.

Ive been busy trying to track down information on other similar robberies in the area and any persons fitting the descriptions of the robbers.

This is a grim reminder to be careful this Holiday season when shopping.  Economy is bad and it may cause desperate acts.

My son in laws brother is alive but we are waiting to see if he can walk, he has a therapist.  He has a crush on my younger daughter Vivian but she wont date him as EWWWWWWW he looks like my sisters husband... EEWWWWWWWWW.. but she did send him a text from Los Angeles which made him smile.

Be safe this Holiday Ladies.

Yes...everyone be safe and watch your cars and purses.  Our daughter had her purse stolen out of a friend's car recently. It makes you sick!

    • Thank God he was attended to quickly. Injury to the main artery can cause one to bleed out. I’m so glad he wasn’t killed. Yes, isn’t it sad that we have to watch our backs? Literally and figuratively.

Hugs and prayers to you and yours,

      Maria

It is a trying time in which we are living and there is no telling what is in the mind of some. So we must keep our guard up. Be safe, alert and aware of our surroundings.

      much love

    • Thanks everyone he was in a shopping center parking lot and it was dark.  He was in surgery for 3.5 hours and two clamps got into his lungs by accident, they had to call in a specialist and he is unable to walk as of yet.  He was shot in the artery and it was worse than they knew when they went in.

Womansafety.. I love your products.. ladies go look at her site.. not bad things to carry this Holiday.

I love the mini stun gun.

Thanks for all your prayers and I know he is going to be OK.. he is going to get a visit from a beautiful Model when she lands from Los Angeles on the 18th.. She told me she would go sit with him when she comes to town.. so I know he will love that.  But still she says... Ewwwwww mom I could never date a guy that looks so much like my sisters husband.  Ewwwwww.  He is a A/c guy owns his own business at an early age has rent houses already I think three and built his own home.  Self made hard working kid.  And single.. !

Im hoping he will be able to walk, he is a handsome kid too.   Thanks All you fabulous ladies.  Stay safe and go check out womansaftey items.  And bravo to you womansafety for thinking of us women.. Love ya girl.

    • Aw MAAAAAAN. I am so sorry to hear this. I do sincerely hope he will be ok and will heal entirely. What a world we live in!! Many prayers!!!
People are crazy. And crazier during these times of economic crisis.
I usually always make sure “I have eyes in back of my head.” Even at a gas station, I always look in the back seat before I get back into the car. At malls or restaurants, I put my keys in my hand with one key between each finger (if it’s dark & I’m alone) in such a way where it could do some damage if the need arises, in addition to a good KNEE blast where it counts. I know it sounds crazy but, alone at night you cannot be too careful these days.

Bobbi if anyone can figure out who these people are that are doing this, you can.
      GET EM!!!
