Have you read the latest news?  According to a study reported in Reuters, those individuals who keep a food diary are more successful in losing weight than those who do not.

These food diarists were not simply a little bit more successful at maintaining their diet, they lost more than twice as much weight as those dieters whose plans did not require them to write it all down.

“For those who are working on weight loss, just writing down everything you eat is a pretty powerful technique,” Victor Stevens of Kaiser Permanente’s Center for Health Research in Portland said in a telephone interview.

“It helps the participants see where the extra calories are coming from, and then develop more specific plans to deal with those situations,” said Stevens, who helped lead the study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

    • I’m SOOO failing in this department right now...in fact I’m failing in every department that comes in weight loss at the moment.

I’m only hoping that the five to seven miles that I walk browsing the streets of Europe will some how offset all of the foods that are filled with all of the wrong ingredients.

So far I can feel it in my pants, and definitely in my bra, not a good thing...
